strawbs - strawbs first album 1969, beautiful stuff!

Here is a rip of the first strawbs lp. This is more popfolk than progfolk, and this is quite a scratched coppy but i'm including it here as for me, the vinyl for most things sounds better than the cd. The first track is the worst on the lp, in my opinion, so don't be fooled by it, and my favourite tracks are poor jimmy wilson and oh how she changed, which is the last on side 1. enjoy!

joni mitchell - song to a seagul, her first and best album!

here, ladies and gents is one of my favourite lps of all time.

I have 3, maybe even 4 coppies of this record, and this one crackles, and really adds something to the listening experience, well I think so anyway. Beautiful, quiet, peaceful music at it's best, just listen to it and you'll see what I mean

Tyrannosaurus Rex my people were fair, mono vinyl rip

here we go then, i'm going to start to transfer my large collection of vinyl lps into digital format and upload them here. These albums are for listening to only! and are formatted as such, with 1 file per side, and no track breaks. This is for those who like to hear things from the original records.

Tyrannosaurus Rex my people were fair

This is from my original 1967 mono coppy and is in fairly good condition, but there is some background noise. If you've not heard this album yet you might be in for a surprise, it's a strange one even by my standards, but I'm not going to give too much away here...

Magna Carta - seasons 1960 folk

I rediscovered this a while back and it's fast becoming one of my favourite albums. Released on vertigo in 1970, this has some wonderful harmonies, catchy almost poppy songs and the theme is the changing of the seasons, just an all round nice album. Here tis...

Greetings!

Well I forgot the details for the outragemusic blog i had previously, so here's a new one! same kind of thing, lots of new, old, obscure and not so obscure music and general goings on. If you like what you see, pass the url around, and if you want to contact me msn me or email me at dj_outrage@hotmail.co.uk. My main musical tastes are very varied, but I am a big fan of jazz, folk, doo wop and inteligent techno, so you'll see a lot of that here. Have fun!
first propper post comin up...
